Patrick's Blog: Day 1 - Arrival in Argentina

We then set off in a luxury bus to Rosario, the area where we will set up camp and play our group matches, which is 4 hours from Buenos Aires. We didn’t feel the time go by thanks to excitement of being in South America and watching good old Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights. We are staying in Hotel Presidente along with our French counterparts who ironically enough are in our group, and will be our opposition for the opening match of the tournament on Saturday. Rosario is known for its rugby and for its beautiful women so upon arrival to the hotel and after a quick bit to eat we hit the streets to inspect this for ourselves. To the team’s delight we were not disappointed! Later in the day we went to a nearby park to run the long flight and bus ride out of our legs.
After a long day I’m fit for the bed and need to catch up on sleep as we have a tough day ahead tomorrow.
