Saturday, 12th November 2011This year's Careers Evening took place on Thursday, 12th October. As
we made our way into college, the high standard of hospitality of
Principal Pat O'Sullivan and the rest of the College staff was greatly
appreciated, as was the cup of tea and delicious grub.
A rota system was in place where students had the opportunity to go to
three different people during the evening. During each 25 minute
session, the students were given a flavour of what a career in the
relevant sector would be like. They then had an opportunity to ask any
questions and clear up any doubts that they may have about working in
a particular field. The broad level of advice and wisdom provided a
great resource to the students as they contemplate their third level
options.
